THE BURNING MAZE: Book Review

Hi, this is the spoiler book review of the burning maze. So if you haven't read it yet, look away.

First of all I hate Rick Riordan for this book. First of all, he breaks up Piper and Jason and then he kills off Jason. In The Blood of Olympus, he shows a fragment of the future when Jason and Piper are telling their grandchildren about the big fight in the Acropolis, and then he kills him off. I HATE HIM!!!!!

Second, this book is very interesting as we hear a bit more about Meg's past. Now we've learned that she is from the desert, which is a really weird place for a daughter of Demeter. Also we learn that Meg's father and Meg are descendants of very important nature people. If anyone remembers they get a special shout out. Any way we also learn that Phillip was a botanist. I think that's how he got the attention of Demeter.

Third, I think we learn why Annabeth was crying at the end of the Ship of Dead. She was crying for Jason. They haven't finished the Dark Prophecy yet (the prophecy its self not the book).

Next, Reyna is going to be big in the next book. In the prophecy the Sybil give, the first letter of each word spelled out Reyna's full name. I've got to hand it to ole Uncle Rick, he's smart for that one. BUT I STILL HATE YOU!

After that, I'd like to say that bringing Medea back was cool and it gave Piper vengeance and that she whipped her butt. Figuratively. Moving on Jason and Piper's relationship is very different then what it was at the end of Blood of Olympus. They were so happy and in love but then they broke up. Rick is horrible because he plays with our feelings as much as the characters, but I would hold off killing him because I wanna know how this ends.
