Rick Riordan's books are my all-time favorite books. The Percy Jackson books are building blocks for every other one of his books. They led to the Heroes of Olympus series and he branched out to Egyptian mythology and  Norse Mythology. Now he is writing the sequel to the sequel or the original Percy Jackson series.
